I started my career as a juvenile officer and worked my way up to a senior detective. I spent 18 years working in the criminal investigative division. I was also given the honor to join the Baldwin County major crimes unit. I served as a member for over nine years and was a lead agent on several major cases that occurred in the county. I had the opportunity to be a part of helping victims receive justice and closure in countless cases. I also was a case agent on numerous felony cases involving such things as homicides, sex offenses, thefts and assaults. Throughout my career I have attended numerous classes dealing with interviewing and interrogations. Investigations has been my home for a majority of my law enforcement career. I’ve learned my skill set through observations of others, attending classes and building rapport with individuals. In 2023 I received the officer of the year award for our department and was honored to be recognized by my peers.
